Valley Country Club

Situated just south of Cherry Creek State Park, the area around Valley Country Club is a hidden Gem. The State Park offers acres of open space, wildlife habitat, and Cherry Creek Reservoir, which is a large body of water suitable for boating and fishing. The Valley Country Club is a Colorado golf community neatly tucked away near the state park.

Recent growth has rejuvenated the area bringing up-scale homes to the area, while maintaining its secluded feel. Being adjacent to Cherry Creek State Park makes it sound remote, but this area is actually well within the Denver metro area. Somewhat “hiding in plain sight” affords the area a feeling of privacy and tranquility, but retains access to modern lifestyle conveniences such as, shopping, dining and entertainment options, all a relatively short drive from the area.

The Valley Country Club celebrating its 50^th anniversary in 2008, is highlighted by its course, designed by William “Billy” Bell, who also designed the famed Torrey Pines. This is a championship course that features some wonderful view of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and is set amongst a rich, well-developed and mature landscape. A recent renovation of the clubhouse, a fitness center, outdoor tennis facilities and social events add to the list of club amenities offered here.

The area is a short drive from the Denver Tech Center, and also has reasonably good access to Downtown Denver via Parker Rd. The area is located about 7 miles from I-225, which offers a connector to the Denver International Airport.
