The Broadlands

Home to the 1999 Parade of Homes, The Broadlands is a well-designed and thought-out master-planned Colorado golf community. With multiple parks, lots of open space, trails and a great golf course meandering through the middle, it is not hard to see why this area has blossomed since development first began.

Real estate in the area varies in types of homes and prices, but goes up to and around the two million dollar mark. The Broadlands is a collection of several unique and distinct enclaves surrounding the golf club. A unique perk of one of the neighborhoods (fairway oaks) in The Broadlands area is that it is one of only a few Colorado golf communities to allow resident owned golf carts on the course.

Central to Boulder and Denver, Broomfield enjoys good access to highways making it a popular location for commuters to either Denver or Boulder. The completion of the North West Parkway has created a welcome connector that makes for an easier commute to Denver International Airport.

The city and county of Broomfield has many appealing qualities that have helped to make it a popular location. Residents can enjoy miles of trails, lots of parks, acres of open space, not to mention the relatively short drive to the mountains.  The Broomfield Events Center completed in 2006 is home to the Colorado 14er’s (basketball) and the Rocky Mountain Rage (hockey) sports teams and hosts special events, concerts and conventions.

The Broadlands name implies broad, open fairways and the course lives up to the name as it meanders through the neighborhoods.
