Red Hawk Ridge

Perched high on the side of a bluff just opposite downtown Castle Rock, Red Hawk Ridge is a relatively newer development (some parts still being developed) with a great public course running through the middle of this Colorado golf community.

A James Engh design, Red Hawk Ridge golf course supports Mr. Engh’s reputation, not only as a great course architect, but for his creative use of what the land gives him.  With dramatic elevation changes and visually appealing holes, Red Hawk Ridge is both a challenging and beautiful public course.

When playing a round at Red Hawk Ridge, it is nearly impossible to not pause and take in the majestic views offered from the upper portions of the course.  From certain holes, panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver suburbs are stunning, while other holes offer great vantage points back toward Castle Rock the town as well as the mesa it is named after.

The town of Castle Rock is roughly 25-30 miles south of downtown Denver, on Interstate 25.  A charming small town, Castle Rock has experienced a lot of growth, but has managed to maintain its character.  With the growth, the conveniences of a larger city have come as well.  Many love Castle Rock not only for its quaintness, but also for its interesting scenery, landscapes and views.

Also Home to an outlet mall complex, people from around the metro area and beyond often visit Castle Rock to take advantage shopping opportunities offered by the outlet mall.
