Lone Tree Golf Club

Lone Tree is perhaps one of the best locations in all the metro area when it comes to convenience. A short distance from the Park Meadows shopping center which is a modern and massive shopping “district”, Lone Tree is close to countless retailers, restaurants and businesses. Entertainment, shopping and dining are all just down the street from this Colorado golf community.

Lone Tree Golf Club (and Hotel) was originally a private club, but is now a well respected public course in the southern suburbs. The course is playable for all levels, but poses some difficult challenges along the way. Lone Tree is mentally challenging as well, requiring solid course management skills. Careful club selection is critical on several holes where water comes into play, and the par 3 tenth is one of the toughest around. A long time local favorite, the Palmer designed course is usually in very good condition.

The real estate surrounding the course can generally be broken down into three groups of home types. On the front nine, a mix of attached and detached homes skirt the perimeter, while the back nine is lined with high-end luxury, in the form of detached homes going up into the 3 million dollar range. Along the back nine, several locations produce grand views of the Rocky Mountains.

Lone Tree is a very a short distance from C-470 which is a direct route to Denver International Airport. The Lone Tree area also offers great access to Interstate 25 for getting to Denver, Castle Rock or Colorado Springs.
