Legacy Ridge
Centrally located between Boulder and Denver, Legacy Ridge is a Colorado golf community in Westminster. Development of the community began in roughly 1994 and encompasses a wide range of home prices. Due to its relatively recent development, Legacy Ridge enjoys the perks and feel of a thought-out, modern residential neighborhood. Much of the area enjoys views of the mountains, reminding you why you chose to live in Colorado.
Legacy Ridge sits between Westminster City Park and Northwest Open Space, as well as being just minutes from Standley Lake Regional Park. Standley Lake Regional Park is a 3,000 acre park that offers the somewhat rare amenity (in Colorado) of a large body of water, well-suited for boating and a variety of outdoor activities and is home to bald eagles, hawks, falcons and other wildlife. Another nearby attraction is Water World. Self-proclaimed as one of America’s “biggest and best” water parks, Water World continues to attract people from all over the metro area on our beautiful Colorado summer days.
Flatiron Crossing is close by and is a modern indoor and outdoor shopping facility that provides more than adequate shopping selections from many national retailers and local businesses as well as many dining options and a movie theater.
The northwest metro area is a mix of established and newer developments. The area and real estate around Legacy Ridge would fall under the newer development part of that spectrum. The golf course enjoys broad views of the Front Range, and the surrounding neighborhood is a nice, newer development.
