Hyland Hills
Hyland Hills is a well-established Colorado golf community that falls under the umbrella of the Hyland Hills Parks and Recreation District, which offers a multitude of activities for almost any interest you can think of, everything from golf to ice-skating. Water World, a water park in the general area, is one of America’s “biggest and best” water parks and continues to attract people from all over the metro area on our beautiful Colorado summer days. Nearby Standley Lake Regional Park is a 3,000 acre park that offers the somewhat rare amenity (in Colorado) of a large body of water. The lake well-suited for boating and a variety of outdoor activities and is home to bald eagles, hawks, falcons and other wildlife. Boating on the lake is limited by permits, making it a favorite place for water-skiers to get out and enjoy the open water.
Located in Westminster, Hyland Hills golf includes 27 regulation holes and a 9 hole par 3 course. The course has been acknowledged as a top 20 Colorado golf course by Golf Digest.
Flatiron Crossing Shopping Center is a close by, modern indoor and outdoor shopping facility and provides more than adequate shopping selections from national retailers and local businesses, as well as dining and a movie theater.
The northwest metro area is a mix of established and newer developments, and the area around Hyland hills would fall under the established part of that spectrum. Located just north of the Boulder turnpike (US 36), this golf community has reasonable access to major thoroughfares making the drive to Boulder, Denver or Denver International Airport all reasonably quick.
