Coal Creek

Coal Creek is a well respected Colorado golf community located roughly half-way between Boulder and Denver. The city of Louisville has great access to either Boulder or Denver and the addition of the Northwest Parkway offers a welcomed connector to Denver International Airport.

Adding to the convenience of the area, nearby Flatiron Crossing offers a large, modern shopping center.  A mix of a traditional indoor shopping mall as well as an outdoor mall, Flatiron Crossing offers major nationwide stores and restaurants and a theater, as well as some businesses of a  more local variety.

The northwest metro Denver area in general saw a lot of real estate growth in the 90’s and early 2000’s. This was due, in part, to the large number of jobs located in the Omni Interlocken area as well as being a convenient location for those commuting to the major cities of Denver and Boulder. Part of the draw of the northwest metro area is that, due to its elevation and proximity to the mountains, much of the area enjoys great views of, and a relatively short drive to, the Rocky Mountains which offer countless outdoor activities for everyone from the hard-core outdoor enthusiast to those who just enjoy being in a beautiful setting.

Coal Creek golf course is a challenging, but fair course that features some wonderful views of the Flatiron Mountains and the rest of the Front Range.  With a links-style front nine and a more typical Colorado style back nine with several elevation changes, Coal Creek offers a very enjoyable round in a beautiful, mature, natural setting.
