Blackstone Country Club

Blackstone Country Club is one of a handful of up-scale country club environments recently added to the Colorado golf community.  This Jay Morrish designed course with an approximately 35,000 square foot clubhouse promises to be a premier golf community.  Much of the real estate is completed, but there is still some development going on in the area.  

The club and the residences are situated on rolling plains with broad, parkway-like streets.  Unique homes designs from multiple builders have helped give the area a charm and grace that should only improve as the construction winds down.  As the course wanders through the neighborhoods, it is visually apparent that Mr. Morrish went to great lengths to blend the existing beauty of the Colorado plains with the course layout. The end result is a beautiful course with a well-designed and thought-out community surrounding it. 

The Blackstone Country Club area enjoys easy access to E-470, making for a relatively quick commute to Denver International Airport.  While the area does sit out east of the Denver metro, it offers a convenient lifestyle due to not only being close to a major highway, but the new Southlands shopping center as well.  Southlands is a large, modern shopping “district” that also offers dining options and is a short drive from the area. 

The country club and the surrounding area is located in south east Aurora. This part of Aurora has seen tremendous growth in recent years and become a very popular location, in part due to the completion of E-470, but also as a result of the look and feel of the developments in the area.
