Arrowhead Golf Club

Located adjacent to Roxborough State Park, Arrowhead Golf Club is a special Colorado golf community. The first thing you notice when entering the area are the signature, massive red rock formations that are literally jutting out of the ground and balanced by the serenity of the foothills and the wildlife...this is a uniquely Colorado setting for golf and real estate. This picturesque setting has played host to many, many weddings.

There is a reason they selected this location when planning the course. The beauty and natural interest of the land makes for great sight-seeing, but don’t get too distracted as a challenging round of golf is in store. Completing the image, it is not uncommon to site deer or fox or other wildlife while playing a round. Making the most of the unconventional topography, the course features several elevation changes, interesting sight-lines and several forced carries.

The Arrowhead area is somewhat remote, which is part of its appeal. The recent addition of some shops and restaurants nearby has brought welcomed conveniences closer, but not to the point of making it feel like part a typical suburb. Those who appreciate the serenity of the foothills and natural beauty will likely find this area appealing.

In addition to being practically on top of a state park, another nearby attraction of note is Chatfield Reservoir, which is a large body of water and a popular boating location, as well as the launching area of choice for hot-air balloon enthusiasts. It is not uncommon to see the sky around Chatfield filling with balloons as the sun rises.
